2020 ANNUAL DINNER

Speaking on the advances and impact in cancer research and other medical fields over last 15 – 20 years and challenges to come.

Donations     We are grateful to the HBS Alumni Club of London which is generously sponsoring this dinner.  It is the tradition for attendees to make a donation to the Scholarship Fund, for which full reunion/class credit will be given by HBS.  We suggest an amount of £125 which will qualify for Gift Aid for UK taxpayers. Larger donations are very welcome.

The Guest Speaker, Sir Harpal Kumar, will reflect on the advances that have been made in cancer research and other fields of medical science over the last 15-20 years, and the impact they are now having on the public and patients. He will comment on the role of public/private partnerships, the criticality of international collaboration, and the value of ambitious challenge-based approaches to science, as well as individual curiosity-driven efforts. Looking forward, Harpal will highlight what he sees as some of the biggest challenges that need to be addressed, and some of the ways in which those challenges might be tackled
